This was my final project for my HTML 1 class. The project was to design a functional web site for any company or purpose, real or imagined, and to use images, text, cascading style sheets, forms, and relative linking.

For my project, I was inspired to make a site about the fictitious company Backwoods Paintball that I created in for a brochure in my Image Design class. I kept with the look and feel I established while making the brochure, using thin red lines, dark green for content area, and white for navigation. Since the web offers a more affordable way to achieve full color than print, I used full color images on several pages of the site. Each image was given the same treatment to unify the look and feel of the overall site. Images were typically kept small or well compressed to allow for faster download times. I added a couple of other features as well, such as a free weather tracking service to the paintball field; something a customer may want to know prior to arriving on the field.
