This project, my final project of my Multimedia Seminar, and the final project assigned to me by my college, was to build a portfolio of my most notable work using a multimedia platform viewable by both potential employers and clients.

The undertaking of this web site is perhaps the single greatest challenge issued to me in my college experience. I had to build something both functional and beautiful that would express my skills to others, while also allowing self-expression in terms of look and feel. In addition, I had to do it all in an extremely rigorous timetable.

I had an idea of a color scheme early on, which I later developed to using shades of blue, yellow, black and white. While thinking of a concept for the look and feel of the site, I thought through several concepts for mixing the traditional with the contemporary. Several of these ideas were incorporated into the making of the site, ideas like using both serif and sans serif fonts, using a chessboard style layout, and incorporating some sort of rendered art.

I wanted the site to have an ethereal feel, so I utilized an image I made using a 3d environment renderer called Terragen that incorporated volumetric lighting and fog effects. After some post work in Photoshop, I had an image that contributes greatly to the overall feel of the site. Also, to entertain as well as educate my guests, I made most of the descriptions of each of my sections and individual projects into witty one-liners. Hopefully you enjoyed them on your way here.
